I will use the "Holger" gearbox and propshaft from Modellmarin with ball bearing. Would You recomend a steel coupling or a rubber coupling? No maintenance needed and runs very true. I don't like metal couplings because they wear out and they transit more shock to the gear in a crash. Dave Tuning software

So far no problem. Had experience of CMB steel coupler on V7.5 and V15. No problem too. In crash the coupler pin break and they wear out day after day. Stop using steel coupler for 4-5 years. on V7.5 and V15 Changing to rubber coupler on V3.5 this year too.

As I wrote, I forgot the smilies... I'll send You an email. BoBo, I am using the CMB steel coupling in my Lightning right now. I havn't had any big problems with it but everybody tells me that I should use the rubber version... And if "the big boys" like Dave, Fredde C and so on tells me to use rubbercoupling, then I just follow their lead!
