Any info yet on the entry requirements for this regatta. At the Naviga section meeting it was still undecided if it would be unlimited direct entry or 5 per
country via the national federation. Any update on this and any further info welcome.

Hello Robert,
official invitation and registration process will be launched on 1 January, but most probably registration will look like this: Number of competitors admitted: For European countries: - Official registration: in each class maximum 5 racers/nation + reigning European Champions - Optional registration: the organizing committee opens up registration from 1 May till 20 May in classes where minimum nr. of participants is not achieved. During this period the organizing committee holds the right to accept registrations from each country. National federations and participants will be notified in case their registration is approved. The list of minimum nr. of participants can be found as an attachement to the official invitation. For non-European countries: - Official registration: in each class maximum 3 racers/nation Planned deadlines: Official registration: 20 April 2009 (postal date) Optional registration for European countries: 20 May 2009 (postal date) Rules for registrations (for official and optional registration): - The entries must be sent from the National Associations (current members of Naviga). - Every National Association has to send the Entry Form for every competitor and the Summary Entry Form for the whole team. - Every competitor has to complete and sign the personal Entry Form - The Team Leader has to compile and sign the Summary Entry Form. - All Entry Forms must be stamped and signed by the National Associations - Personal entries will not be accepted. Classification and prizes: - European Championship classification: Trophies, medals and diplomas to first 3 competitors in each class; diploma of participation to all competitors. The winner gets the official title of Naviga European Champion, honoured by his/her national anthemn. Non-European participants are not counted in the European Championship classification. - Open (international) classification: In classes where at least one non-European racer finnishes in one of the first 3 places, separate European Championship and international prize giving ceremonies will be held. European racers count for both classification, non-European racers only count for the open/international classification. Official website will be launched in the beginning of December, of course I will let you know this as soon as we are ready with it. Cheers: Andras |

Hello,
we plan to launch the Eurochamps website this weekend. That will include all relevant infos: detailed invitation, program, accommodation, contacts, deadlines, Eurochamps forum, etc. Of course I will open a new topic about it also here. Cheers: Andras |

Eeh basically same race set up as the WC?
Is this demands from Naviga?? If not I think you have to let the entries free if you want a good standrad of the race. |

I agree with Fredde. To get a good race we need plenty of competitors and I don't think it's likely that you would be oversubscribed for a Euro
Champs. If people do not know if they will be allowed to enter, it could be a problem for many who have to make holiday decisions now, not in April.
Just my opinion you understand.

Dear friends,
please check out the info site, that we've launched today: www.fsr-oroshaza.hu I'm fully aware of the points Dave and Fredde made in their last comments, but still think that this mixed format of registration is the best possible compromise between the Naviga demands and our aim to have as many racers as possible. Of course, feedback is always welcome! Cheers: Andras |
