I see in the program that the banquet is planned for saturday night and sunday morning starts the V finals, I think this is bad, I know it usually looks this
way also in the WC but why not make the banquet togheter with the price giving ceremony.
I was in the USA for the 1:8 offroad WC and they had it togheter wich ment that everbody came, I believe after beeing to many not so good and fun banquets can say that a lot of people don't go to the banquet but if you put it togheter with the price ceremony it could be much more people coming and a more fun event. That's just my 2 cents. |

Well, the question is, if people would stay one more night, attend that banquet and go home on monday. Not sure this would solve the issue. In any case, this
is a provisional program, if we get a clear message from the majority of racers on some points that we can still change (the date of banquet could be one of
these points), of course we will do it. So feel free to give us all your constructive thoughts.
Cheers: A. |

Well the issue is not only to get more people to the banquet, the banquet is a moment for party togheter and I can say for my self that if I am in the finals
it will be no party, it will an evening to go thru the boats and sleep early, ok I know I am getting old

I'm not getting old but if the banquet is the night before the finals I don't go either. Its a really bad idea.

Good to see Joomla used properly. Nice and informative site!
I hope that I be able (and permitted) to participate. Racing in O, so the banquet issue isn't a problem for me. But I agree that it should take place together with the price giving ceremony. |

OK, I would absolutely support the idea of putting the banquet together with the prize giving. I will consult the local guys to see what they think of it, coz
it's their decision after all. Still, in case you have some ideas how to make sure that people actually stay there for the banquet and don't go home
right after the prize giving, I would be glad to hear them.
Thanks and cheers: Andras |

Price-giving DURING the banquet will cure all your problems.
Also pre-pay and sign-in for the banquet could help. |

The banquet the night before the finals is not a good idea. Combining the prize giving with the banquet would make a nice evening, but there is the risk that
people who have not made any finals will have already left.

My 2 cents | ||

Put the banquet earlier in the week. If you hold the banquet after prize giving many people will have already left to go home.

OK, we've fixed the site. Some hackers actually cracked our admin passwords, but now it should be safe.

I found these on the official EC web site.
Account holder: Orosháza Városi Modellező Klub IBAN: HU32-10101102-58259400-01001003 SWIFT: BUDAHUHB However, they are not enough for me to send $$$ to Europe. Our local bank required more # Address of account holder # Phone no. of account holder # Name of Bank # Address of bank For the same problem to pay Naviga membership, we used to pay during the World Championship. Any help? Info can be emialed to kebobo@ust.hk or hkmta@hkmta.net |

travel requirements and getting money | ||

Are there any special requirments for travelling by car through Hungary, I mean do you have to buy a "Vignette" the same as when travelling through
Austria or Switzerland?
Are there plenty of ATM's for getting money using a bank card, is it possible at a bank to exchange British Pounds for hungarian currency? Are euros usable at all in Hungary?

There are several ATM-s round the country where you can get HUF.Euro is not official but you can use it some places. Hi doki |

Will a practice lake be available in Hungary for the European championship next month. If so how far away is it from the main lake and what times is it available? |
