I wondered if anyone has used a Multiplex Profi 3030 or 4000 with an aftermarket 2.4ghz module? If so what one and how did it work out?
Or is is not worth the cost?
Cheers

Phil,
If you really want to go 2.4 then wait a bit as I know Multiplex are going to be introducing their 2.4 modules next year at the Dortmond show. G |

Hi,
Take a look at the Futaba 6EXP, being used by a lot of boat drivers in Germany since it came out, up until now, no negative reports, quite a few even leave the 2 antenna wires in the RC box and still have full response, distance is also no problem. If you're into Pistols try the Futaba 4PK has the same FASST system. To be quite honest I am a bit wary of 2,4GHz modules in old Radios, lots of trouble with them here in Germany, although the new Jeti modules look as though they could change this, but because they're new there's not many reports on thier reliability. bye, Geoff |

Futaba T6EXP 2,4GHz has only four channels because 5-th and 6-th are mix control switch. I use T6EXP and i have to modify it for needle and flap and it is very
complicate to modify. BUT!!! it is very chip RC and work perfect like expencive RC units.

EVO 9 mod in post number 178 EVO9
Looks good to me. Anyone going to buy one? I love my Futaba Fasst and the transmitter ergonomics but the plastics on the Robbe FX30 transmitter are rubbish. Cracks everywhere on both of my transmitters and now the lettering on the case is rubbing off. Not good for a transmitter costing 600 GBP.

Dave! You are not supposed to have fuel on the transmitter
