We interested in using a small hand held GPS unit to measure the speed of our boats, the thing is we do not really know anything about them, We only need to measure and store the maximum speed for setting up tuned pipes and selecting props. Do they vary in accuracy for this speed test? What is the minimum size of lake needed to obtain an accurate measurement?
As I said we no nothing about them and reading the specifications does not tell us what we need to know. Can any one recommend the cheapest make and model which works well in this application or one you have tried with good results.
