We can't rewrite the rules here and any idea's of changes should be told to the Naviga meeting, personal idea's like 15 boats for the WC might be good to save time, the best way is it to split the event into 2 separat events and increase the number of starters to make it a really good WC, would save days for each event, I am trying to get the swedish association to make a proposal for this. |

SOLLING wrote:Hi Steve and all others reading this forum, The actual date of the 2009 Open Eurochamps is planned to be 1-9 August (from saturday till next sunday). We can make it shorter, but can't make it longer. We will come up with a detailed program and an official date a.s.a.p. The website of the event is also getting ready (in fact it's almost ready, only some small things missing, so it takes just a few more weeks before we put it in its place and start to spread the info around), but first we have to deal with the financial plans and that's what is taking away most our energies for the moment. Hey ....don't blame me.... it's in the rules .. 6.1.3
You have to have numberplates 1-13. Most vendors sell 1-15. |

Is it possible to provide 12V/24V battery and starter for those who go by plane?
Is it possible to help receiving cargo or parcel for those who send their boat by post? I couldn't find the cost of accomodation on www.gyoparosfurdo.hu/ Thanks in advance. |

BoBoKwok wrote:Hello BoBo, knowing that there is demand, of course we will do our best to provide battery, parcel receiving, etc... but take your own starter, it's not that heavy:-) About accommodation: we are dealing with a specialised agency to look after hotel bookings in the area. Camping will be most probably a direct issue with the spa, but there will also be a person in charge of bookings. All information about the 2009 event will be on our website, that will start functioning in the course of this month. Domain will be www.fsr-oroshaza.hu, but it's not working yet, so don't try it for the moment. In any case, be sure that we are already working hard to make nice events for both 2009 and 2010. Why it is necessary to ask Naviga? Frequency in the Hungary resolve state organisations, not federations!
The 2,4GHz is resolved for use all over the world without any restrictions! In this range and on these channels of works ALL wireless computer devices! You know the country, where it is forbidden to use the laptop?

In fact Peter asked me about the 2.4 possibility last week and, after checking domestic legislation, we came up with the answer 'yes' as soon as
possible. I don't see why Naviga could have a problem with it. 2.4 makes everyone's life easier I guess.

Hi !
2.4 Ghz is allowed in Hungary, most of the competitors are using it,because it is safe and it doesn't hog the ether.I have been using it for a year in my boat and heli and I haven't had any problems sofar. Not mentioning that how easy to classificate the rounds. doki |
