Hi,

I was wondering what is a general opinion on the orientation of the engine/gearbox rubber mounts? I have always built my boats with horizontal orientation of the mounts (side mounted). In the new boat (Titan) they are oriented vertically and one would think that they wouldn't absorb the vibration properly - in fact, the overall operation of the boat feels a bit more noisy than my previous boats.

Thanks,

Jan

I know this is not the place for advertising items but this I feel is more of a recomendation. I have just got my Zenoah back from Dave after having a 1mm stroker crank fitted and having his magical Dremmel do its best, what a difference !!! The engine was originally a Tuned Zen 7 and as it was in need of a rebuild I spoke to Dave and he recomended fitting the stroker crank as well, all I can say is money well spent. I ran it for the first time at Peterborough last weekend and as the results show I was now 1.5 seconds a lap faster than the rest of the field in my heat, this was unfortunatly short lived, 15 laps, due to a radio problem. Just shows how much power you can get out of a piston ported engine rather than the more expensive reed or disc valve engines. If you are thinking of buying or what more power out of a Zenoah ask Dave Marles about the new Zen 8 !!!

Keith.

Hi everyone,
As you all know it was the 1st race of 2012 yesturday and i wasnt there!!
Ive been waiting over 4 weeks for my fuel order to arrive in my local shop, i have contacted the shop many times and there is still no sign of the fuel so i emailed the manufacture who emailed back implying that i was unreasonable expecting it any sooner!
Ive built a 3.5 and a 15 yet unable to use them! Can someone please point me in a direction where i can purchase some good quality fuels please as i really would like to get involved in the racing action this year!

Many thanks

Rob.
